The ‘Mouzaliko’ is a family-run guest house which offers bed and breakfast. It is situated in the heart of Kampos, a very green, peaceful area with a rich historical heritage. It is 5 kilometres from the centre of Chios town and 2 kilometres from the airport. There is a regular bus service to and from the town.

It was renovated in 2009 with the aim of providing high quality tourist accommodation. It consists of 5 rooms, 2 of which can accommodate families of 4 or 5, and 3 double rooms. How about waking up in the heart of nature with a variety of fresh fruits to enjoy among the scent of the blossom from the fruit trees in Spring? The ‘Mouzaliko’, situated on 7 acres of land, offers you service and hospitality and guarantees you a comfortable, pleasant stay in a peaceful environment surrounded by orange trees, tangerine trees and lemon trees. Not to mention the scent of Jasmine and Evening Primrose together with the low-lighting which will help you to unwind.

It is situated in the heart of Kampos, undoubtedly one of the most picturesque areas on the island of Chios, with a rich historical heritage which will be very valuable for future generations. The area of Kampos represents a concept of a lifestyle which will definitely become more and more sought after in the years to come. The ‘Mouzaliko’, without the least exaggeration, could be an exact replica of Paradise which we are all searching for. Built on an area of 7,000 square metres, it is surrounded by rows of orchards full of both orange and tangerine trees. Here the scent from the blossom, which is definitely unique, together with the sounds and colours, gives you a real sense of belonging which goes beyond one’s expectations.

There on the edge of the orchard lies this traditional building, constructed with local stone by craftsmen who belonged to another period of time when people put their ardent enthusiasm to artistic creation and with unbelievable results. And the ‘Mouzaliko’ is an example of this, with all the local characteristic elements of the Kampos area; the stone pillars, the wheelwell, the water pool and the garden gates with their impressive archways. I have the feeling that whatever description is attempted to be given, no matter how hard the writer tries, it would be difficult to capture the picture in words. However, one thing that can be conveyed is the kindness and warmth of the owners of the guest house, Dimitris and Suzie Benettos.

These hospitable and welcoming people are more than aware of the fact that the service provided to those who choose to spend their holidays at the ‘Mouzaliko’ has to be helpful yet discreet as well as friendly and in harmony with the environment.
